Philosophy / Goals

It is our philosophy, as Environmental Analysts, Landscape Designers, and Consultants, to educate clients on the opportunity they have to meet regulatory requirements, save money, and build a future that protects and enhances the ecological function and beauty of the land in their care.  It is most often less costly to work with the natural systems within a landscape than against them.  No longer can a landscape just be beautiful; it needs to provide diverse ecological function.  Projects such as Meadow Restoration, Forest Conservation, Mowing Reduction, Critical Area Planting, and Buffer Management are proven to enhance biodiversity, reduce maintenance costs, improve air quality, reduce runoff, filter pollution, reduce erosion, and sequester carbon.  These are “Environmental Matters”.  Environmental Matters, LLC is dedicated to working towards these goals.
